Mallorca March-April 2011

24/4/2015 Mallorca walks update.Photos from my first "walking trip " to Mallorca, in 2011.

I'd previously been there on rock climbing holidays, based in Santa Ponca and Palma Nova ,but this trip was a eyeopener to how beautiful the island really is .

I stayed the week in Port de Soller which was a bit chilly later on in the evenings this early in the year.
As well as doing walks from the port, Soller town and Valldemossa ,on some days I took the early express (tunnel) bus back to Palma to link with the bus routes to Puigpunyent,Galilia and St Elm for walks in the western part of the island.
I was just too early for the start of the "summer" bus service which goes through the mountains to Lluc and beyond ,but this gave me lots of new ground to cover when I next visited in October 2013!
