Gran Canaria March 2022

 Another Gran Canaria trip.Initially staying in Triana, Las Palmas for access to the north east, then moving north west to Artenara the highest mountain village before heading south to Aguimes.Lots of familiar and new places on my walks which meant that I put the new Discovery Map and recently purchased https://www.ramblingroger.com/ guides to good use.

El Hierro and Tenerife January - February 2022

Nearly up to date with posts now.This is from my early 2022 trip to the Canaries ,the first one outside the British Isles since you know what.

A couple of days at either end based in Santa Cruz with walks in the Anaga Mountains , but mainly on El Hierro further out in the Atlantic.

Cae Amos December 2021

 A two day visit to Cae Amos during the December storms.Between us we carried in a decent amount of fuel for the fire, so it was a fairly pleasant experience when sheltered from the wind.

A few end of November 2021 days staying at Stratford upon Avon YH Alveston.On my summer 2021 visit to Warwickshire I took my road bike, did some walking and realised the potential of using the mtb on the extensive network of bridleways.

Shropshire October 2021

Only a couple more old posts to write and then I'll have caught up to 2022.

In October I managed to get a good deal on a small cottage north of Craven Arms for a week ,complete with wood burning stove.

Four good mtb rides on Titterstone Clee Hill, The Long Mynd, Stiperstones and the Worcester canal, a circular walk from Cardington via Caer Caradoc and visits to Wenlock Edge ,Bridgenorth and Snailbeach Lead Mines over near the Welsh border.
