Early Autumn haul

Still lots to be had from the plot .Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness and all that......
Golden,Rhurbarb and Pink Passion chards with wild rocket at the back

Runner beans,mangetout peas with Trombone ,Pattypan and unknown squash

Cylindra beetroot and unknown pepper

A good haul of stuff,we've done well with squashes and runner beans this year,still got loads more to come,really can't beat going and picking your own veg.

Yes,I sowed them in July and hoped for the best.Late dwarf beans were a failure but the peas seemed to cope with the cool August.

Beautiful coloured veg! Chard stems are really pretty and good to add to lots of dishes.

Just been wandering through your blog - you have some gorgeous veg going on around here! Loving the electric colours on the chard. I only grew the truly boring (but still tasty!) green variety last year - I'm definitely planning to change that this summer.
